In a time of ever-increasing options, knowing what to wear, and therefore what to buy, can be exceedingly difficult. Some extremists like to consider the recent aggressive increase of trends to be the reason so many have adopted minimalism. Then there’s the maximalists who jump all in and say the more trends, the better. We like to think we fall somewhere in the middle — the camp that toes the line between wanting to build out a solid wardrobe, but with items that are more modern than the ho-hum classics.

Fashion designer Cherish Smith is the founder and creator of Cherish Me Collections. Cherish has always had an interest in all things fashion, which eventually led to her studying fashion design at Howard University in Washington D.C. Ever wonder who the man behind the REBAL HUE’s gorgeous illustrations since the debut issue in 2014 is? Well, his name Demarkus Tate and he’s not only a fantastic illustrator but a designer in the making.

REBAL HUE’s Cover Feature: KJ Johnson

The cover features is none other then celebrity stylist KJ Johnson born and raised in Springfield, IL. She came to Chicago, IL to chase her dreams in fashion. She teamed up with Nastassia Darby, a graphic design graduate and Art History fashionista at DePaul University in Chicago, IL.

Nastassia and KJ both bring a fresh perspective on fashion and illustration, thus creating a unique and colorful brand of art pop to the fashion industry.

We also have featured Chicago, IL photography and videography by Jomari Brown and Jacob Bracey.
