The hybridized Vapormax 95 silhouette, the Swoosh has focused on introducing the world to original color schemes that once adorned the Air Max 95. An array of varying shades of blue adorn this model’s mid-foot racing stripes, with Obsidian starting at the top, quickly transitioning to lighter French Blue and Lake Blue as it approaches stark white right atop its boisterous Air bubbles. A quick hit of New Green is added to its lateral heel unit, embroidered onto its miniature Swoosh.

The Air Jordan 12 “International Flight”

The Air Jordan 12 “International Flight”

One of Jordan Brand’s most well-documented abilities is its penchant for telling stories from MJ’s legacy with its releases. From the recently dropped Air Jordan 1 Best Hand In The Game collection to the epochal Air Jordan 11 Space Jam, nearly every corner of Jordan’s life has been recorded through a sneaker drop. One of the Jumpman’s most recent sets, the International Flight capsule, pays homage to number 23’s unmatched international influence, helping popularize the game in countries the world over.

Air Jordan 12 designed to encapsulate Jordan’s 1996 trip to Tokyo for a basketball clinic. Opting to adorn this silhouette in a Tokyo-inspired colorway makes all these sense in the world, as its upper was originally influenced by Japan’s instantly recognizable Rising Sun flag. Further Japanese-inspired details come by way of kimono-styled patterns on its upper and the word Jordan spelled out in kanji characters on its heel tab.

Skepta x Nike Air Max Deluxe

Skepta x Nike Air Max Deluxe

UK grime sensation Skepta has become one of the Swoosh Brand’s top collaborative partners as of late. Not many people can claim to have three collaborations with one of the most recognizable brands in the world, but next week, Joseph Adenuga will be able to add that distinction to his budding portfolio. Utilizing his roadman-inspired aesthetic, Britain’s top hip-hop representative is set to release his third co-branded Air Max sneaker over the last two years.

Skepta released his most popular single to date, “That’s Not Me” encapsulating his love and devotion to the city of New York, one of the metropolises most fundamentally associated with hip-hop. With that record in mind, the medial side of this SK Deluxe reads “NEVER SLEEP ON TOUR”, and its upper boasts a static pattern that emulates his award winning music video for the aforementioned ballad that will always connect the rapper to the Big Apple.

The Nike EXP-X14

The Nike EXP-X14

Nike’s brand new EXP-X14 running silhouette has been overshadowed by other new models the likes of the React Element 87 and the React Element 55. While the EXP-X14 has not caught on quite as quickly as the others, it is easily one of the best new sneakers the Swoosh has created this year. Its sleek construction, semi-translucent upper, and functionality should allow it to enjoy measured success for years to come.

Soft shades of blue and pink interact with one another atop this offering’s upper, furthering the notion that a beautiful sunset resembles a tasty cotton candy treat. Black and white provide contrast on its throat and sole unit, allowing for the aforementioned palette to truly take center stage. Grab an official look at the newest EXP-X14 below and look forward to its arrival at Swoosh Brand stockists on September 8th.

Nike EXP-X14 Release Date: September 8th, 2018  $140                                   Color: Black/Wolf Grey/Dark Grey Style Code: BQ6972-001
